The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”

Thucydides

After graduating from Boston College in 1998 with a BS in Accounting, I moved to Nashville to begin my career in business. Eager to deepen my expertise, I pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, completing the program in 2003. This strong academic foundation laid the groundwork for my journey in both financial leadership and operational strategy.

My career began at Gaylord Entertainment, where I took on significant roles in financial planning, strategic initiatives, and large-scale capital projects. It was during this time that I developed a passion for delivering exceptional service and creative solutions to clients while navigating complex challenges. I gained invaluable experience leading diverse teams, and this experience helped shape my leadership approach—one that values teamwork, innovation, and the ability to execute on strategic goals.

Following my time at Gaylord, I became the President of Heart of the House Hospitality. In this role, I oversaw substantial expansion efforts and helped build high-performing teams that embraced innovative business strategies to drive growth. My career journey has also taken me across several other industries, where I’ve continued to focus on fostering dynamic organizations and delivering results.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I have always been passionate about giving back to my community. I served as a board member of the Pearl Cohn Magnet School Advisory Board, focusing on developing students and securing funding for first-generation college students. I also served as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair for Cumberland Compact, an organization dedicated to enhancing Tennessee’s waterways. These volunteer experiences have been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to contribute to causes that positively impact the lives of many.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family—my wife Cricket and our three daughters, Sasha, Natalie, and Arden. We love attending live music events and music festivals together. I’m also an avid mountain and road biker and enjoy long walks and hikes with my dog, Logan. Whether I’m on the bike or exploring the great outdoors, I find balance and inspiration in the world around me. As I continue to grow in my career, I’m focused on creating positive change, fostering strong relationships, and delivering exceptional value to the communities and organizations I serve.
